Lawrence Hall of Science is on Centennial Drive in the Berkeley hills east of the main UC Berkeley campus. It is just above the UC Botanical Gardens.

Car-pooling is encouraged, Directions to the Lawrence Hall of Science.

The campus shuttle does NOT run on weekends, but the AC transit #65 bus does, here's the schedule and route map -- it takes 25 minutes to get from downtown Berkeley BART to the Lawrence Hall of Science, the bus runs once per hour on weekends, and leaves downtown Berkeley at the half hour (i.e. 9:30, 10:30, etc).

People do ride bikes up the hill, but it is steep, and a fairly long distance, so don't plan on doing that unless you have already done it before and know what you're getting into. Likewise, for walking/hiking up - there isn't a safe pedestrian path beside the road the entire way - but it is possible to go up Strawberry Canyon on the fire trails if you know where you're going.
